  1. Hello and thank you for your message.
Given Laxmi’s association with the ocean, I think pearls would be lovely in combination with lotus seeds for a Mahalaxmi mala. Also, because she is associated with beauty and wealth, a prosperity stone such as citrine, or anything that represents beauty and wealth to you, would also be beautiful. I can make other suggestions based on what I have on hand, if you let me know which gems and colors you like.
I’m sending you an email repeating this message. If you would like me to make something especially for you, please reply with your price range.

Have Question re your malas, esp 27 bead red jsper-corral-turq item: are they knotted between the beads or do they slide after the string stretches? Thanks, Great looking malas, Jim K

  3. Hi Jim. I don’t knot between the beads. (Unfortunately, the process is far too time consuming — and I’m not good at it — or I’d offer to do this for you.) I use professional bead cord and I haven’t noticed any real stretch on my own malas.
If that’s a concern of yours, I could make a mala for you where the cord going through the beads was thicker than I usually use, for a really snug fit.
    Glad you like them!
I take requests too. If you want a particular stone.

  4. I have a new black fountain for my bedroom and I have put your crystal with the black stones. The daughter of a dear friend who died this summer also gave me a crystal and it is next to yours. So, is it super-duper cold and snowing in Vermont?
